“I've made so many connections with writers that started with Lit Youngstown's Lit Festival, in particular.”

Lit Youngstown's annual Fall Literary Festival is our largest event, hosting hundreds of readers, writers, educators, translators, students, editors and booksellers in a welcoming and dynamic environment. This is a conference for

  • writers to hone their craft and learn more about publishing

  • readers to hear authors read their own work, and discover new favorite authors

  • authors and translators to share their work

  • educators to share scholarship and best practices

  • students to learn from experienced scholars and published authors

  • editors to get books into the hands of literary enthusiasts

Open the drop-down menu to find important updates on the upcoming festival, including proposal submission and registration links. Or see the details from last year's festival to get a bit of the flavor. Or click on past festivals for photo galleries.
